The southwest monsoon will bring more rains as Tropical Storm Pilandok nears its exit from the Philippine Area of Responsibility. PAGASA says the southwest monsoon will continue to affect most of Luzon and Western Visayas in the next three days up to Saturday. Pilandok will still pull the southwest monsoon over the Ilocos Region as well as Abra, Benguet, and Zambales. PAGASA says 50 to 100 millimeters of rainfall is possible, causing flooding in low-lying areas and landslide in mountainous areas. According to the weather bureau, Metro Manila can expect scattered rains and thunderstorms. For the rest of North and Central Luzon, PAGASA says there will be cloudy skies and there is a chance of rains especially later in the afternoon up to the evening.
