'Two scathing harsh noise walls (after a dark ambient intro) from Morbid Beauty and six tracks of disturbing death industrial/harsh noise from Go As DeatH on this incredible (62 minute) split!' (Pukehammer). Very happy to be able to chat and collaborate with the talented artist and noisemaker John McVay on this one. Our parts are quite different but complement well.
MB half made with synth, voice, pedals, Arturia, Reaper and an urban exploration field recording in an abandoned hotel in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia, processed in Shotcut whilst making the video. Go As DeatH tracks on this album were constructed with cassette tapes looped on pedals layered with processed microphone feedback and contact mic feedback through effects pedals. Recorded to tape 11/13/2022 and 03/14/2023 with minimal post-editing.
