'In Horrid Waves' is for those into their downtuned, 'chaotic-yet-sludge metal crashing into experimental electronic industrial metal noise', with comparisons and influences screaming at Meshuggah, Dillinger Escape Plan, Mike Patton projects, Cephalic Carnage, Gojira, The Locust, Ion Dissonance, Squelch Chamber, Candiria, Converge, Car Bomb, KEN Mode and more; yet X's For Eyes is its own seething, anamorphic beast that ends up sounding like no other. A twisted 'can't not look' demolition of the senses solo sonic nightmare dreamscape of Marc Whitworth; drummer of the early 00s Australian tech metal band Five Star Prison Cell, and who has also featured on Uncle Woe's 'Well' EP I hope you heard recently!
