For those into their dark ambient, death industrial, noise tones and eerie film soundtracks, please clear an hour in your schedule to prepare the setting of your surroundings, and take in this album. Curtains closed with candles flickering being highly recommended. 'Apocryphal' was originally released in April 2015, on the Go As DeatH and the highly prolific Kalpamantra page 'in a period of time when Go As DeatH was more focused on building scary dark ambient textures and horror loops, before the descent into harsh noise madness.'
Now it is given a new lease of life 8 years later, after I found myself going back and listening a few times. Thinking more people should hear this, I remastered it, widening the sound a little and pulling out some more tones across the sonic spectrum, along with adding a growing deep pulse to the closing piece. There is all new artwork in the download as well and I made a video for 'Al-Azif' as that track really grabbed me. I hope you will immerse into the 'Apocryphal' sounds.
