Did you know you can hike to natural hot springs in Colorado? The Conundrum Hot Springs hike in Colorado is a very popular backpacking trail in the Maroon Bells wilderness - which means that permits to hike to the hot springs are insanely hard to get. But if you've been around here for a while, you know we don't let that deter us! To get to enjoy the springs without worrying about permit lotteries, we decided to do the entire 18 mile out and back route in a single day. While it was a long day, the mid hike relaxation station at the hot springs made it totally worth it! Not to mention, we managed to happen upon this hike during peak fall color in Colorado, which made it even more insanely beautiful! If you are looking for a unique and spectacular hike near Aspen, Colorado, consider putting Conundrum Hot Springs on your list!
