Right after touching down in Zermatt, Switzerland, we were blessed with a rare gift from Mother Earth: a crystal clear day in the Swiss Alps. We seized the opportunity to do climb one of the most famous 4000m peaks in the area known as Breithorn. Given the incredibly clear yet awfully windy weather that day, we decided to continue on after the Breithorn summit and traverse over to Central Breithorn along one of the most epic ridegelines of our lives. This is Swiss alpine hiking at its finest!
