History and memory are the two main themes of Moon Tiger by the English writer Penelope Lively about an aging historian looking back on her eventful life. Moon Tiger rightfully won the Booker Prize in 1987.
Moon Tiger was our June pick for the 12 Books for 2022 reading project, and it was a pleasure to read it. It is always difficult to review an unconventional novel such as Moon Tiger with a fragmentary, polyphonic, and non-linear narrative. But Moon Tiger is a great read!
