A popular Hawaiian song, "Moon Of Manakoora." I'm using the D9th tuning (treble to bass: E, C, A, F#, E, C, A, G). I'm using a Microcube amplifier and a Goodrich volume pedal. My only effect is some reverb.
Notice that the D9th is simply the C6th tuning (treble to bass: E, C, A, G, E, C, A, G)with the 4th string dropped a half-tone to F#. I don't drop the 8th string simply because I didn't use all 8-strings on this recording). I usually turn my reverb up for this song, making it sound more dreamy. Boss/Roland music gear have the best reverb in my opinion.
