Here's a messy fight against a Rathian and Rathalos.
My character is modeled after Susannah Dean from "The Dark Tower." I've been playing as the character for years in various games, but I only gave her the name in Wilds.
So - the Rathian and Rathalos debacle. This was a mess because the Rathalos just wouldn't leave me alone. I had to manage both of them at the same time, and thankfully, the Lance is good for doing that.
I made several mistakes with blocking - I've recently become a big fan of Offensive Guard, because the three slot gem version gives me an insane 15% Attack power boost when it activates - and you don't even have to time your guards that well. Anyway, that's why I took several easily blockable hits in this fight.
Both dragons are weak against Thunder, so I was using my Thunder Skyscraper. I know that Artian weapons can be boring to watch, but I've got several that are better than the monster based weapons both Attack power and Affinity wise. Plus you get three 3 slot gems on them. Artian weapons are pretty ugly in my opinion, but I think the Lance looks okay.
