Here's another dual hunt against a Tempered Ajarakan and a Tempered Gravios.
My character, as always, is modeled after Susannah Dean from "The Dark Tower."
A fairly simple hunt against a pair of monsters that are not too difficult. The Ajarakan likes to do wrestling moves, ramming its shoulder into the ground and scraping itself at you like a cool guy. The Gravios is fairly easy to damage when you break its belly. Much like the Uragaan from World, it expels gas attacks or fire from its underside, and these can all be blocked with the Lance's shield.
I have made a few Artian weapons recently, and while they're not very fashionable, they are practical in their strengths. Rank 8 lets you have three 3 Slot gem decorations and that is truly insane. But still - ugly.
I'm always learning with the Lance, and you'll see me power guard a few times to tank some hits. When you do this, your stamina drains super fast, but once you take a hit, the drain stops, and the damage is mitigated significantly, as is the knock back.
Last thing - someone randomly joined the hunt. Why? It was nothing special, but it was fun and welcome, because Monster Hunter is always more fun with multiple players. I could have easily done this one by myself, but I'm leaving it in because he was a Hunting Horn player, and that's always a plus.
