Despite a few annoying spots, this level was overall extremely fun. The decoration looks decent and was definitely ahead of its time, although the 2.1 rocks and lava usage didn’t age very well in my opinion. The gameplay is really satisfying all the way through. I can still name a few awkward spots, mainly 25%, 52-53%, and 86%. This level took me about 2200 attempts which is less than some insane demons I’ve beaten, however it took me a lot longer, since you get past the first few parts very often in this level. An awesome experience, I definitely recommend this level!

Truly one of the most devastating fails I’ve ever faced. Failing here is like failing at 98%, everything after the wave is really easy. I’m so mad, but I won’t give up. (Mobile) Uprise 78% [EXTREME DEMON] by Blad3M | Geometry Dash](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_xpClaYuAoE/mqdefault.jpg)

Before playing this level, I actually disliked it, but I absolutely love it now. Almost every single part is incredibly fun to play and everything gets relatively consistent. Some parts are noticeably harder than the rest of the level though: Loogiah, G4lvatron and KrmaL. As a result, this level feels quite second half heavy but I don’t really mind it. I was quite scared of TheDevon and Etzer when I started playing this, but those parts aren’t actually that hard in my opinion (compared to G4lvatron at least), and they’re insanely satisfying to play. I think the first 40% is the most frustrating section of the level despite being the easiest. I especially dislike the straight fly at 27% and the ship gap at 37%, although the latter got consistent after a while. 40-100% is very fun for the most part but I do have a few issues with it: the ship at 58% is way too difficult and inconsistent, the transition at 61% is extremely annoying, 72% is too hard and so is KrmaL’s wave part. I still had a lot of fun playing this level and I definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed this level. The unique-memory gameplay got extremely consistent and satisfying, even though learning was pretty hard. Since the first 40% is pretty easy compared to the rest, you always get far which made it incredibly enjoyable and not boring at all. The hardest part, for me, used to be the dual wave right before the robot, but I found a way to avoid the spam which makes this part almost completely free, so, now, I think the hardest part is the robot: it features some very precise jumps, and ESPECIALLY the jump at 69% which is absolutely insane. I died about 10 times at this robot part. The following ball part wasn’t too bad although a bit stressful, I died there twice, at the first timing. This timing is not that bad in comparison to the 69% jump; it used to be the reason this level was so hard but since it got nerfed a few months ago it’s way more consistent. I also think it’s easier on 60hz than on higher refresh rates but I’m not sure. Overall, this level was way better than expected and definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had with an insane demon. I don’t agree at all with it being the worst insane demon. That spot goes, in my opinion, to Galatic Fragility.

xo is one of my favorite extreme demons and it is easily KrmaL’s best level in my eyes. I have always loved the song and how well the level represents it, through interesting structuring (the dual at 32% being the prime example) and creative decoration (the air deco at 18% and 49% for instance, as well as the sync parts at 33% and 78%). KrmaL never fails to come up with innovative gameplay, and I feel like xo demonstrates that beautifully; I especially like 61-78%, as it features gameplay you’d never expect to see in your average extreme demon while being exceptionally fun. I firmly believe that all a level needs to be amazing is a good song, great song representation, and decent execution. This level checks all three boxes, and I do not think the simplistic decoration makes it any worse.
I’ve always been scared to play this level because of how intimidating the first third is. That being said, I decided to give it a solid go over three weeks ago, and progress was very slow: I was having a really hard time getting 61-100%, which is the easiest part of the level by a long shot, and things didn’t get any better afterwards. It took me an unbelievably long time to do 41-100% for the first time, a run I’d end up doing 35 times before beating the level. Basically, 41-100% gets all of its difficulty from the unorthodox gameplay (which you get used to over time) and a few chokepoints: the cube portal at 45%, the straight fly at 48%, the jump at 58%, the straight fly at 73% and the dash orb release at 76%. Since most of these get very consistent, 41-100% naturally gets extremely consistent as well, but it requires a lot of practice to say the least.
0-32% however is a completely different story. No matter how much you practice this part, it does not get consistent — I would usually get past it 3 or 4 times per hour at best. The first 10% is honestly not very difficult; the dash orb at 3% is hard at first, but it is actually much easier if you enter the cube portal with downwards momentum. 10-18% is by far the hardest part of the level, and it is one of the brutal and inconsistent parts I’ve encountered in an extreme demon. I could spend hours explaining how ridiculously difficult the ship gap at 13% is, but I think you have to play this level for yourself to truly understand how hard it is. Not only is the gap itself absurdly tight, but the transition into the ship portal being ever so slightly different each time is the cherry on top. Do not expect to ever get consistent at 13% as it is by far biggest chokepoint in the level, and when you miraculously get past it, you still have to go through a very difficult ship part: 17-18% is much harder than it looks. After that, you get to enjoy a small break: 18-29% is relatively easy although you can definitely die at the wave if you’re not careful. Unfortunately, this section is immediately followed by an incredibly hard and unintuitive ship part. There are many ways to enter the ship portal at 30% depending on when you jumped as the cube, and you have very little time to change your click pattern accordingly, which makes this little ship corridor extremely inconsistent and frustrating. The dual at 32% is perhaps even worse: you have to suffer through dual ship physics, it is incredibly easy to accidentally hit a block, and the click pattern as a whole is insanely unintuitive and easy to mess up. Of course, once you somehow get past the first 32% of this level, you have to deal with nerves because of how rare drop attempts are, and that makes 32-100 significantly harder from 0%.
Overall, this is one of the most stressful and mentally draining levels I’ve ever played. That being said, it was still a lot more enjoyable than expected and I had tons of fun practicing 41-100%, which is absolutely fantastic in terms of gameplay. I’m not sure I can recommend this level, but if you’re mentally prepared and truly love the level like I do, go for it.

Finally. This level took me 4813 attempts, and I can safely say it is one of if not the worst experience I’ve had with a level. It was also way harder than expected, and I would consider it harder than Acu, Thanatophobia and Incipient. Here are my thoughts on every part, ranked from easiest to hardest:
Serponge: By far the easiest part, a bit hard to get used to at first but once you understand how it works you should basically never die there. Pretty fun to play.
Dudex: First part of the level, so it was obviously going to get consistent pretty fast. It’s also pretty easy, there aren’t any hard timings. Good part.
Viprin: By far, but I mean BY FAR the best part in this level. It is extremely satisfying to play, there’s not a single bug or annoying timing. I absolutely love this part.
Rustam: Very easy part, but the skull is quite easy to die at. Nothing much to say about it, good part.
Evasium: This part plays very weird because of the speed changes, but it isn’t very hard at all. Died there a few times because of nerves.
Vlacc: At first, the wave at 23% was extremely annoying, but it gets very consistent, so I basically never died there after a while. The transition to rustam as well as the quadruple spike can be very annoying though.
Pan: This parts seems impossible at first. It took me an unbelievable amount of time to get consistent at it, but once I did, it was not that bad. Still died 25 times there from 0, mostly at the wave and at the cube. Overall a fun part.
Etzer: I do not understand how I died 11 times there. Nerves can make parts so much harder. The ship was pretty annoying and the transition into the part is one of the worst in any level because of how ridiculously buggy it is, but otherwise, this was a good part.
Terron: Extremely stressful and hard considering it’s the last part of the level. Unsurprisingly, I died there twice, at 91% and 93%.
Manix: This part is only hard because of the spider at 16%, which I died to way way WAY too much. Almost felt luck based. Otherwise a decent part.
Now you might be wondering how this can be one of the levels I hate the most. Well, let’s comment on the 2 hardest parts...
Nasgubb: I absolutely despise this part. It literally felt random, and every death seemed out of my control. It just feels so unfair. Absolutely hated every single timing, and I was not consistent at all. Horrible part.
ZenthicAlpha: If you thought I hated Nasgubb’s part the most in this level, you are very wrong. This part is quite possibly the worst part I have ever played. The dual is annoying as hell because of two bugs: sometimes, your wave just randomly dies despite the presence of D blocks everywhere, and secondly, you sometimes don’t reach the blue portal and your big robot dies. This dual is already horrible, and it’s not even the worst thing. Following that, we have a ship part, which is the part that has made me the angriest I’ve ever been playing this game. I died there about 95% of the time, it is so incredibly awkward and unfun. I can’t put into words how much I hate it. After a very annoying robot, we get to a completely luck-based spider spam, which is even more random than nasgubb’s part. Without this part, I would’ve beaten this level way faster and I would consider it an insane demon. Sadly, this part exists.
I would not recommend this level. Also my 5th extreme demon :)

Here are two really cool insane demons I beat recently!
Gotts:
What I really like about this level is the drop, in terms of decoration AND gameplay. I absolutely love how DreamTide used move triggers here — not only are the movements extremely smooth, but they really make the level feel alive, which is perfect for this part of the song. I’m also quite a fan of the color combinations as they are very unique while still looking good. As I said, 45-100% is also fantastic in terms of gameplay, everything flows marvelously well. I especially like 66-89% because of how satisfying it is to pull off. The drop does have an annoying difficulty spike though, between 75% and 82%.
Even though I think it’s pretty cool, I can’t say I like the predrop as much. In terms of decoration, I think it lacks a lot of cohesion and I’m not really a fan of the colors. I found the gameplay to be quite frustrating: the orbs at 3% are very inconsistent, the double click at 9% is too hard, the blue orb at 11% feels a bit unfair, the UFO at 17% is incredibly inconsistent and awkward to play and the blue orb at 39% is too hard. Moreover, the second coin (which I took) requires you to do a ridiculously difficult jump at 40%. From what I’ve played, this jump is actually very easy on 60hz while it is by far the hardest timing in the level on 144hz. It felt completely luck based and I died there about 70% of the times I got there from 0% which got incredibly annoying after a while.
Overall, this is an amazing level but I think the predrop could definitely be better. Moreover, I unfortunately got very unlucky, dying many times past 75%, with a fail at 98%.

Fast Forward:
This level uses 2.0 limitations and I honestly find that quite impressive considering how clean and modern it looks, while still capturing the 2.0 vibe. It is pretty obviously inspired by Hinds, but you can definitely tell it was made by Sley because of the color combinations (which are amazing, by the way). My favorite thing about this level has to be the gameplay though, it flows incredibly well and features some pretty unique sections (47-49% for instance). I have very few issues with this level gameplay-wise: the robot jumps at 4% are a bit annoying, the transition at 35% is too sudden and 40% is kind of frustrating since you have to do a decently hard timing right after a dual wave spam, making things a lot harder.
Overall, this is one of the most fun insane demons I’ve ever played and I love the decoration as well.
