Complete scenic drive from Moab, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado. We begin in the city of Moab and head north on Utah Route 128 (Upper Colorado River Scenic Byway), enjoying 35 miles of twists and turns and towering red rock cliffs along the banks of the Colorado River. From there we pass the old ghost town of Cisco, Utah, then hop onto I-70 and make our way east into Colorado and the city of Grand Junction.

This drive was filmed in the month of May.

Our drive from Denver, Colorado, to Salt Lake City begins on I-70 westbound, winding through the majestic Rocky Mountains under a sky that briefly opened with a light rain, casting a misty veil over the rugged peaks and lush valleys. As we ascend through Vail Pass and Glenwood Canyon, the rain clears, revealing vibrant alpine meadows and towering evergreens, and we got close to an active wildfire that sent a faint haze across the horizon. Crossing into Utah the next day, the landscape transformed into a dramatic desert expanse, with red rock formations, the outstanding San Rafael Swell, and vast plateaus stretching endlessly under a blazing sun and a few clouds. Turning north on I-15, we marveled at the stark beauty of the Wasatch Front, its craggy peaks guiding us into Salt Lake City, where the city’s skyline welcomes us after an unforgettable journey. The drive continues another day as we head north on U.S. Route 93 for a mandatory stop at the Hoover Dam. We’ll take a moment to marvel at this incredible feat of engineering and the massive scale of Lake Mead and the wild Colorado River. We begin in the desert and drive through Zion National Park on Utah Route 9 (Zion Park Scenic Byway), then we make our way north on U.S. Route 89 (Mount Carmel Scenic Byway) up to Utah Route 14 (Markagunt High Plateau Scenic Byway) where we climb to almost 10,000 in elevation before dropping down into Cedar Canyon and into Cedar City. From there we head down into the Mojave Desert and the vibrant city of St. George, Utah, then from Hurricane, Utah to Springdale where our journey ends. This drive was filmed during the month of May.
