This was an amazing "Spec" film for electric car Mitsubishi iMiEV made by
German film students in 2010. It debut in January 2011 before similar "main stream" ads were run by Nissan and Renault.

Quote from idea/film director Stephan Hilpert comments he posted on YouTube "TBWA made a commercial for the NISSAN LEAF entitled "Gas Powered Everything" (and same month Renault "The Electric Life")which looks surprisingly similar to ours and was published several months later (in May 2011- we had already won an award at the German "Spotlight" festival in March 2011). They don’t speak to us but hired an expensive law firm to tell us that they came up with the concept totally independently. Sounds strange, but it seems quite difficult to prove that they just ripped off our film, and who knows?"
