Welcome back to the eighth instalment of Mission: Thames, our long-term project to complete all crossings of the river Thames from mouth to source. We start today's video at Hampton Court Railway station and continue our journey westwards across the northern ridge of Surrey using no less than two ferry crossings en route - the Hampton Ferry and the Shepperton to Weybridge Ferry.
This is one of those videos where not everything goes to plan - stay tuned to learn whether Surrey's public transport network is as good as advertised...
