Heaton Chapel is a small station located on the Manchester branch of the West Coast Main Line. It has incredible variety but also incredible views, and was perhaps one of my favourite stations that I visited in the Manchester area.
It sees services operated by Northern using Class 323s, 769s and 331s (as well as passing 150s and 156s to Chester and Buxton), Avanti West Coast, Transport for Wales, Transpennine Express, East Midlands Railway on their long-distance Liverpool-Norwich service and CrossCountry. Quite a variety!
Heaton Chapel is well worth a visit if you're in the Manchester area and definitely deserves more popularity.
