Welcome to the first episode of one of the most ambitious long-term projects on this channel, where we cross every crossing of the River Thames by public transport, including bridges, tunnels, railways, ferries and more, starting from the Thames Estuary in the east towards its source in the Cotswolds.

Today we start at the far eastern part of the Thames, from Thurrock and Kent and gradually make our way westwards towards central London. This video includes many unique crossings including a bus on a motorway, a well underused ferry service and a very expensive rail link...

Join me in this video, months in the planning, where we slowly make our way to completing this challenge and explore many interesting methods of public transport along the way.
