My review of the tie in paperback novelization for the first Mission Impossible film. This book contains two of the known deleted scenes but otherwise follows the film’s plot. The major difference is the massive amount of added detail and characterization via internal monologue for virtually every moment in the film. Reading this book only enhances the film and will answer any lingering questions you may have had about the plot or certain sequences. It is a joy to return to when rewatching the film and one of the best novelizations I’ve ever read.
