Antarctica doesn't ease you in. On day one of the Terra Incognita expedition, former BMW & Infiniti CEO Roland Krueger and his partner Lars Ebbesen faced katabatic winds tearing down from the polar plateau, dangerous crevasses splitting the ice between the mountains, and temperatures hitting minus 40 — with no sun to warm the tent. Roland calls it "a good wake up call." That's an understatement.
