"I will admit, this mod has a good start. Great presentation. However, once I played it with my friends, they told me the built in shaders were doing the heavy lifting. I will admit, removing the shaders took a lot away from the mod.
If you like simple mazes, I would recommend this. Not a lot happens when playing this mod singleplayer, and the thing that happens in multiplayer isn't really fair for the other players. There are events that occur but only after a minute, and during that minute, nothing too special happens. It felt like this was intended to be for a scripted Minecraft series or something like it.
I wanted to bring stuff with me but the mod wouldn't let me. Sure I could've spawned the stuff in when I got there, but then it would feel like I 'cheated'. Plus I wanted to get the 'intended' experience anyways.
There are only 2 (working) NPCs in this mod. As much as I would like to tell you to play the mod to see them, the first NPC hijacks the player's controls so....The first NPC takes control of the player and tries to fool the other player into thinking they're fine. After a while they become a monster and attack everyone.
The second NPC will do damage until you shine your flashlight on it. As much as I like NPCs with mechanics that aren't just 'attack the player', the mechanic for the second NPC is very simple.
Overall, I thought the mod was okay. If you like Halloween hedge mazes, I will recommend this mod."
