Experiment #431: Scarecrow + Lighters + Alcohol
(Rated G) Of the different Halloween episodes I've done so far, both official and unofficial, this one is by far the best. I've had the idea of microwaving a scarecrow since 2013, with the idea being based on The Wicker Man (the original 1973 version, of course, not the tripe Nick Cage was in a few years ago). Originally I was going to be singing Mirie It Is and Sumer Is Icumen In while it was on fire but I don't know how many would get it or who could understand Old English. But the scarecrow did burn beautifully and there was one explosion that was by far the most impressive lighter fireball I'd ever seen (obviously assisted by the rubbing alcohol), it not only blasted the door open but shot flames out of the microwave and above as well. I was sort of hoping the little scarecrow on top would also ignite, but no such luck. This is the third experiment this season to blow the door open and what's amazing is that none of these were bottles, just a Mario doll, a singing candle, and a lighter with a scarecrow. The other lighter did more of a "slow burn" but was still cool. And after a couple episodes of no name, I finally gave this Magic Chef microwave a name, after a YouTuber and a sitcom character that perfectly fits the "Halloween" theme this has, although since most of my fans are fairly young, most probably won't get the Bewitched reference. Microwave Me, now in its 15th season continues its trend of bigger and better microwave experiments than done the previous season while being filmed in 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave as the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a small Magic Chef brand microwave.
