Experiment #503: Kinetic Sand
(Rated G) I told you I'd be back! Since I don't have a new microwave yet, I decided to do something mildly interesting but unique and creative, and that is microwaving magic kinetic sand, also known as hydrophobic sand. The sand is impervious to water yet behaves like wet sand and only sticks to itself. I wondered what it'd look like in a microwave. And to be honest it was pretty uneventful, in fact the most exciting parts of the video are the before and after. But at the same time I had to do the experiment just to show the results. I will have more microwave videos coming in the future, good ones, and done in an outdoor microwave. This was just a little something to tide you over. If you have any ideas for stuff to microwave, let me know (but nothing too expensive or dangerous as I need to keep the new microwave I get alive for at least five episodes). This makes the first episode I've done since March and the first unique item I've done in almost two years. Huge step down from a traffic light or a flare gun, but the good still will be coming up fairly soon.
