The original United Artists titles to the 1933 Disney short The Pet Store, scanned from a 16mm UK Kodak print dated 1961. Unfortunately, there were a couple of splices in the opening titles, so the unique music (and singing) is somewhat truncated. The closing is complete, however – and I think a lot of you will be as relieved as I was to finally see this without the late-1940s ending music used for the burlap reissue and the Treasures version. (And, just in case someone hasn’t noticed, the burlap and Treasures versions uses the opening music from the 1939 commercial Mickey’s Surprise Party).
