This is very likely how Steamboat Willie was presented to the British audience at its belated UK theatrical premiere in 1931, three years after its original US release. The title card was remade to include the distributor at the time, British International Film Distributors Ltd. Another change involved the scene with Mickey shaking the piglets off their mother. This had already been deemed offensive in the US, so some censorship was needed – but the edit here is not the standard one. I’ve included that part so you can see for yourselves! The scan is from a 16mm Agfa-Gevaert print of unknown date.
