The “burlap note swirl” reissue titles to the 1933 Disney cartoon Building a Building, from the Italian DVD release Topolino Vintage (2013). These titles were made in the late 1940s for the short’s non-theatrical distribution, but I had never seen them until they unexpectedly turned up on that Italian DVD. It seems they have used the Treasures version for the soundtrack, however – that opening fanfare was originally used for a live-action Disney feature in 1961, then it snuck its way into the laserdisc/Treasures recreations via the 1974 theatrical reissues.
By the way, the Topolino Vintage DVD also includes The Birthday Party (1931) and Mickey’s Revue (1932) with their burlap titles.
