Here is a tutorial for how to play the melody from the song, "Habanera," from the opera, "Carmen." Thisis one of the most famous songs from an opera, and it's really fun to play! I hope this helps you learn the song on the violin! =)

This tutorial goes over the basic melody from Habanera. The version I've played on my channel adds changes in octaves and even turns the B part minor for a section. I'm working on writing out the sheet music for that particular version, but since the octave and key changes are a bit more advanced, I've kept the tutorial to teaching the basic melody from the opera. If requested, I might make an extended version that goes over some of the more advanced ideas in the future. ^_^
Additionally, I've gotten several comments that students are learning this song for an exam. Please make sure that you follow the notated sheet music provided for your exam -- this video is just for those who want to learn the basic melody by ear. It might help you with some of your practicing, but I've never seen the sheet music for this song, so there is a high chance that my version differs from the particular version that you are studying.
