Here is a tutorial for how to play the tune, "Hobgoblin's Waltz" on the violin! =) This is a tricky tune with an odd key signature, but I think it sounds quite similar to Harry Potter's "Hedwig's Theme." I'm not entirely sure who wrote this piece (The Session discussion seems to suggest Dave Marcus may have written it), but it's a neat tune!

I thought the original sheet music had a few notes written out that could perhaps be thought of more as ornaments to make the tune a little easier to play, so I tried to teach a simplified version. ^_^ It's still quite a complicated tune, but I hope this video helps a little. The sheet music is a bit intimidating to look at, but I think it's a little easier to learn by ear, or perhaps follow along while listening to it. I took a more repetitive approach to this lesson since a lot of the phrases and notes are not really intuitive! :o
I really apologize for the censored beginning! T_T I had no idea it looked like that while I was holding everything in one hand. I almost missed it entirely after I edited the video together, and had to cover it up with flowers once I noticed it. I hope we can all just laugh at it... :S
