Last time we’ve tried to determine the function/effect of the ORTH_XY and ORTH_SEL parameters – and failed. We’ve also covered the kinda trivial MAPXYZ parameter (link below). Let’s continue our quest in understanding the parameters.

First we improve our MAPXYZ enum. Then we develop a method for reverse (“forward”) engineering the DSP of the chip. With that tool in hand we successfully decipher SEL_SMISM and SMISM. Finally we have another fail understanding FHYST.
