THIS IS BY NO MEANS FULLY OPTIMIZED - I worked for about a week and a half straight to put this together because the Ristar speedrunning community had been due for a TAS showcasing what is possible with newer tricks and strats.
The hits taken against Ohsat (the shark boss) and Adahan (the mole boss) were intentional. At the end of boss fights, if Ristar has full HP, he will do two jumps. On these two specific bosses, the jumps lose time.
Timed from game start - if timed as a typical Any% speedrun (when Ristar first becomes actionable in stage 1-1 when his feet hit the ground), the time would be 25:02.")
