After over a decade, it was long overdue for a trip to Melbourne, so I decided to combine a visit to this great city , on my way to the Adelaide Hills! August is Winter in Australia, and Melbourne is one of our coldest Capitals , but a great opportunity to wear some coats that I can't back in Brisbane , and of course ride some Trams! My second last day saw the rain disappear, which provided a window to head to the "Dogleg curves" between William and Market Streets. Melbourne has the largest operating Tram system in the world, and you never have to wait long for a ride , even on the weekends.
There is so much history and interesting facts about the network , and this quick video is just a tiny snapshot of this fantastic Light Rail system.
