This is the demo V0.2.1 of the fangame Mega Man X Innocent Impulse! The final game will be an open-world adventure set after the Repliforce War from X4. It will have 8 new bosses, many armor parts and multiple endings. Your actions and how you play the missions will have direct impact on what happens and how the story unfolds (the demo already shows this!).
Besides all that, there's also a special section where you can unlock some fights against bosses from previous games, like the Spark Mandrill and Gravity Beetle ones shown in the video).
What a beautiful and entertaining demo! I'm very excited about this one!
*(Spoiler Alert: Below I'll give an example of an action that has a heavy impact on the story)*
If you beat Chilly Fox _before_ getting the leg upgrade, you won't be able to save a villlager who is lost inside a cave _and_ Chilly Fox will die at the end of the fight (as it happens in my video!). Since the final game will have multiple endings, by doing that in the final version it's very likely that I'd get a bad ending! Sorry guys, nothing personal, just trying my best while playing blind, ya know?
To get the leg upgrade and save the lost villager, you need to enter a cave that is located right below the Eagle mini-boss. As the bridge collapses after that fight, the cave's entrance will be in that underwater section (my video shows the entrance at the very end of the Eagle mini-boss fight). Entering there will allow you to get the leg upgrade, save the villager _and_ as a result Chilly Fox will not die at the end of the fight!
Also worth noticing that the game gives you armors for defeating bosses in the VR room *without taking damage* (with the exception of the VR Sigma fight: you will get the Fourth Armor after beating him, even if you get hit during the fight).
