On the final day of his Working Visit to Singapore on 16 July 2026, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with leaders of the Future Economic Cooperation Council (FECC), an India-based economic platform that convenes government and business leaders to promote free trade, investment flows and resilient economic partnerships.

The meet-and-greet discussion focused on how government and business can collaborate to navigate a changing global economy and unlock new opportunities for the region. It also underscored shared priorities for advancing balanced development, sustainable growth and closer collaboration among governments, businesses and other sectors. These efforts support stronger trade and investment partnerships and help shape a more innovative, connected and prosperous future for the region.
