We often think of the Middle Ages as a pleasure-free zone, a time when, in Europe at least, the Church dominated society. And yes, many of the Medievals were pious Church goers who were terrified of burning in the fires of Hell for their sins, but they still liked their booze. Let’s travel back in time now to the Middle Ages and take a look at some medieval drunken nights out, the good times that were had, and the consequences that followed. Welcome to Medieval Madness.
