MCSO CORPORAL JIM LONG NAMED FASRO SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER OF THE YEAR
This morning, the Florida Association of School Resource Officers (FASRO) named MCSO Corporal Jim Long their 2018 School Resource Officer of the Year. Corporal Long is assigned to Forest High School and he, and multiple school staff members, responded to and took control of the school shooting that occurred on April 20, 2018. Thank you to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for sending Corporal Long a message, which is at the end of this video!
