After the Fear settled for this moon, I took the Lucid Dreamer back to the Lake, to talk. As the moon fell, I knew we would be safe for a while. The Dreamer would wake soon. I told them of my worries that this plan to finally end the Fear wouldn’t work, and we would both either be corrupted or destroyed. They shared their uncertainty, but expressed confidence. This was comforting, as it made me feel that my time and efforts may not be wasted. As the Dreamer exited the Plains for this moon, I awaited their return.
