My name is Hollow. I am the guardian of this world, known to us as the Astral Plains. We are spiritual beings, made purely of the energy that exists inside everything. Most physical beings have no idea we exist, but we interact all the time, through dreams. Whenever a physical being lays down to sleep, they temporarily exit their physical bodies, and visit us here. As Dreamers.
The Crystal City, located to the west of the Plains, is where Dreamers reside. This place does not follow the same laws that your world does, but Dreamers are unaware of this. Every door, every window, all gateways to different Dreams. The spirits created this space to keep the Dreamers safe. To protect them.
