Trauma brings out the worst in humans. That is not reflected in their spirit. The beings here are their purest forms. Their true selves. You can learn a lot about the people you know and love in Reality just by interacting with their spirit. That does not mean there is no evil. Some thrive in it, take strength from it. One such spirit is the cause of the horrors you have seen. They must be stopped, or they will take your trauma and use it against you. If they find you, they will, and we will all be doomed.
