The Geekom Mini IT12 has a powerful Alder Lake i7, with 6 performance cores and 4 efficient cores, and that means it has the potential to be a powerful, capable machine for productivity. However, the Geekom Mini IT12 is first and foremost a mini PC, and that means it is held back by the limited cooling potential of a low profile heatsink. To unleash its potential, I’ve enabled Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility to help bypass some of the thermal and power restrictions. Was this a good idea?
