Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of Mastermind Creations Ocular Max IF-04 Ater Beta. Exceptional figure. There is a chase variant with black windows and black rims, but I had hoped I would get the normal purple window and bling rims version, and I did! Based on IDW’s “Deadlock” which was apparently Drift’s name before he was Drift.

Car to Robot: 0:09
Robot to Car: 1:18
Speed run to Robot: 2:27
Speed run to Car: 2:49
2x Run: 3:11
End credits: 3:33
Production Note: 665 photos (Whew! Close one!) 2 hour shoot.
Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
Music: The music is by Ethan Meixsell - ethanmeixsell.com
Songs: “Demise” and “Thor’s Hammer” - Demise was exactly the right length, so it was meant to be.
