I’ve always been a fan of Archangel. Angel was fine, but when he showed up in that X-Factor issue with the metal wings and that whole darker look, I was done. That was the moment the character locked in for me. Ever since then I’ve tried to collect every version of him that looks good, and this new black X-Force version just hits even harder.
The colors look amazing in person, the blue face pops against the black and white suit, and the wings feel sharp and menacing in all the right ways. There’s something about this design that makes him look fast even when he’s standing still. And when you pose him mid-flight with those wings spread out, it really feels like the character jumped straight out of the comics.
It’s one of those figures that instantly becomes a favorite the moment you put it on the shelf. This one made me smile the second I saw it.
