Tom Brevoort is now trying to explain why X-Men: Age of Revelation was never meant to matter — and his defense exposes everything wrong with Marvel’s event strategy.
In a recent X-Men Monday interview, Tom Brevoort, Marvel’s Senior Vice President of Publishing, laid out the thinking behind Age of Revelation: why most tie-ins were intentionally disconnected, why only one book truly mattered, and why Marvel no longer thinks they can make line-wide events feel important.
