The 1018 is fun to shoot but gets outperformed by Daisy 340 and very much so by the psm45.
The psm45 is the carnival gun champ, and after getting the German version of the Marksman, the DX-17, it is tough to say I'm excited about the 1018.
With the 1018 breakage, I retired my 1018, and I'm not sure I'll even bother taking it apart.
With the 340, I went through 3 versions of mixed and matched slides and mainframes. I can't say bad things about the 340 when my 1018 died around 2000 shots. My final 340 made it to 5,000 shots.
