We continue the study of the Gospel of Mark in Greek by analyzing Mark 1:37. Jesus has gone to a solitary place early in the morning to pray. When Peter and the other disciples wake up they start searching for him desperately. Finally they find him and tell him that everybody has been searching for him. We already saw in Mark 1:36 that this search for the "lost" Jesus is a foreshadow of his death and resurrection, but today we will show that this parallelism goes back to the very infancy of Jesus, when he was just a young boy, lost in Jerusalem for three days...
