Alright, here’s your weekly rundown!! We’re going to start on what happened Monday and work our way to today! So here we go:

Deputy Turner responded to the Department of Corrections’ Women’s Reception Center due to someone trying to smuggle drugs to an inmate. The investigation revealed that 36-year-old Ashley Adamson was observed handing a piece of paper towel to an inmate. The towel contained prescription medications. Ashley was arrested for Introduction of Contraband into a Correctional Facility and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

A 2001 Ford F-150 was stolen from the East Marion Feed Store located on East Highway 40. The victim went into the store leaving the doors unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Detective Hunt located the vehicle and witnessed Ronald Foreman exiting the vehicle. Foreman, who is the victim’s estranged husband was arrested for Grand Theft and Violation of a Domestic Violence Injunction. He was transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

You can’t get away when “SwampFox” is in the sky! Detective Rasnick attempted at traffic stop on a vehicle and the vehicle fled. The vehicle was lost during the pursuit and was later located by Air One. Detectives arrested the driver, Paul Roper for Fleeing and Eluding, DWLSR and attaching an Unassigned Tag plus he also had a warrant. The passenger, Adora Strawser was also arrest for an active warrant. Both were transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

We received multiple calls in reference to a vehicle driving recklessly on East Highway 40. One caller began to follow the vehicle and witnessed the vehicle running off the road several times to include the opposite side of the road. At one point the vehicle ran into a ditch. Deputy Miller was able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. He made contact with the driver, Dollene Ravior and could smell alcohol on her. Ravior admitted that she was drinking and driving and then tried to run from Deputy Miller. She was placed under arrested where she continued to yell and tried to kick the deputies. She was transported to the Gold Star Hotel, where she refused to blow in the breathalyzer which will result in a 1 year suspension of her license.
