This glitch allows you to walk through all walls, in almost any room. The effect will remain through walkable loading zones, but not through lifts, or any type of pipe. This means that it isn't possible to reach Neo Bowser Castle or the Twinsy Tropics dungeon with the glitch active, but basically everywhere else!
On 21/01/16 SolidifiedGaming and PedalPowerLuigi found some new OoBs that allow us to reach Mount Brrr without beating Wiggler, but with the game thinking we are after King Boo. This means that we skip Trio Drill, so this trick is necessary to reach King Bob-Omb. After beating King Bob-Omb the game gives you Trio Drill & Trio Plane!
To do this, first make sure you have a save file that has NOT collected all the Toads necessary to reach the summit of Mount Brrr. Then do one of these two OoBs to reach the tunnel early, depending how far through the game you are:

Additionally, if the extra platforms have not appeared yet, make sure you walk through the loading zone close to the front, near the platform. This will make the platforms appear, and you can tell it's worked if Shy Guys have appeared in the tunnel.
Now walk back through the loading zone. The cutscene will play but Mario will be able to walk around. To be able to walk through walls, you need to use Trio Hammer (or have the bros starting up Trio Hammer) against a wall just as the cutscene ends. You can use the consistent setup for this trick to do so (http://youtu.be/Fwp6hyTQBPs). You can use Trio Hammer again to check that it's worked: Luigi and Paper Mario should float in the air.
Now that you have it set up, using Trio Grab will allow you to walk through practically anything. The only things I've found that you can't walk through are blocks, NPCs, and any pipe you have to stand on to descend. The things that can cause the glitch to end that I've found so far are all pipes, lifts, Paper Mario-only spots, and almost all cutscenes. Using Trio Drill also removes some of the effects, but not all: you appear to be able to still walk through slopes, but that's all. I haven't tried saving while the glitch is active.
The effect doesn't carry into Neo Bowser Castle. If it did, we could probably half the number of bosses we have to fight.
