Crypt of the Necrodancer's hottest level gets an extra slappy remix!
First off, thanks to both CS1 and Zach D. for your Patreon request of this game! Our January Theme was DECADE, and clearly Patrons adored indie titles that represented the 2010s! Having listened to Crypt of the Necrodancer and its remix albums quite a bit, I was definitely excited to cover a track from the game again! I did have to be wary of my attachment to the original as well as Familyjules' version of the tune, so to both respect the groundwork and not lean too heavily on arguably metal arrangements themselves! Pushing for my own voice here, I decided to incorporate a more percussive guitar technique, thumping, which is both difficult and super fun once it got comfortable for me. Though these requests can be a bit of a challenge and workout, I hope you enjoy the unique spins I push into the arranging and video too!
