Nothing like making a short and sweet track for a GameLark album. As some of you saw, my group GameLark recently released its latest licensed album - "Fuzzy Pickles" which tributes the Mother series including Earthbound! While it's been almost 6 years since I've braved my favorite SNES soundtrack for music I'm so glad I got to be on this album while directing it! I decided on Fourside, being one of my proudest older covers of the series, and wanted to see about getting it half "Green Day" style power poppunk and half progressive with intricate riffs and lead playing. The end result was much shorter than my usual work, but I think it's the right dosage of heavy on the album compared to our gentler and groovier tracks!

Videowise I also didn't want to spend more time than necessary so I opted for a Ness costume and just a ton of lights including one newer tube LED! I've found myself finding different ways to speed up my process, sync up tracks, and get the absolute best looking product out the gate. I hope Fourside is no exception :) OH and stay tuned for maybe two more covers before my album-making hiatus, including one this Sunday...
