7 Years ago I covered this INSANE opening to a masterclass game, and it clearly uh.. was about time I revisited this! Actually some of you may know that this track was removed from streaming due to the album it was on being pulled by its creators briefly - long story short, I wanted to recreate it for a potential live setting and give it a bit more heaviness and moves. This meant a lot less lead guitar fumbling and a bit more closely resembling the original layers!

I always pictured the opening as this grand dramatic flarey scene that establishes the grandness of Midgar and the plot before you, so I opted to shoot a lot of this using my softbox and Helios vintage lens! The result is a bit messy but I think it works for our purposes here!
