The crown pinnacle of video game covers and Sans' boss fight music, MEGALOVANIA! As the 24th track on the album, I wanted to make sure we end with something exciting, memorable, and just all out fun! While I conceived this album around MAGFest of this year, I remember chatting with my awesome guest Jules on the subject of VGM. At some point he definitely said I should cover Megalovania, so naturally I figured he would be the perfect guest soloist for it too! I purposely changed the key of the song and brought in a few extra Indian elements to the breakdown to give my version of the song its own distinct sounds, but the most fun part was getting a chance to guitar-duel Jules! I'd credit seeing his stuff way back in 2011 as well as a lot of his tips and guidance for me as the reason my channel got started and it's pretty awesome to finally have him on my channel tearing it up! Thank you Jules for playing this song one more time and bringing your thunder to the channel! An extra thank you to @HugoJ for the fantastic Sans animation commissions, they're going to be scattered across the videos!
Besides that, Matt and I had a blast shooting some extra fun shots to get the most fiery over-the-top look possible! I started using my dad's old projector to create some fun visuals in the back for an overlay, and you'll see a bit more of that across the album.. and OH MY GOD. I am STUNNED by the reception to the Undertale album. Within a day we've beat every record I imagined, the album was shared on FAMITSU of all places, and the kind messages, comments, and DMs have really relieved and inspired me. I hope any of you get a chance to hear all 24 songs with our 24 awesome guests and enjoy a fresh, new concept-album take on this monumental charming little game.
