For the frame, I used 25mm by 25mm square tubing with a 2mm thickness. Now I did make Mud Flaps out of 6mm very soft rubber, which I had at home. This was what I thought was too soft and floppy, and I upgraded to the belting rubber in this video. This is much better and sits nicely when driving.
