Whether you're playing D&D, or any other RPG, making combat more interesting seems like the eternal struggle of every Game Master. What can we do besides adding more monsters to hack and slash and nuke with spells? COMBAT GOALS.
Time to spice up your encounters with something totally new.
As simple as it sounds, adding specific goals to combat is one of the single best ways to immediately spice up combat, and make it feel like something else entirely.
Adding goals raises the stakes, makes the battle more dynamic, and creates a sense of purpose behind raising steel and spell.
In this video we give you some very specific examples of how you can add goals to your combat to shift the paradigm at your table.
